Seize the Day Snags Bill O'Reilly

Bill O'Reilly, one of the most polarizing voices in American media, will speak at Seize the Day Columbus, opening the door for possible protests when the event comes to the Schottenstein Center on Oct. 6.

There's rarely any middle ground for people when it comes to O'Reilly; they either love him or hate him. Regardless, they watch him -- his program, "The O'Reilly Factor," on the Fox News Channel is a monster – and they listen to what he has to say.

"We realize that some people have problems with O'Reilly, but a lot of people embrace him," a Seize the Day spokesman said. "He's not afraid to take on the tough issues, whether or not they're politically expedient."

O'Reilly is ranked No. 11 on Townhall magazine's list of "Americans The Left Hates the Most." O'Reilly is best-selling author and former radio host and his recent venture was called the "Bold & Fresh Tour" that he co-hosted with Fox News colleague Glenn Beck.

Expect strong language and perhaps harsh opinions from O'Reilly when you attend Seize the Day. He's never been one to pull a punch and someone is liable to be labeled a "pinhead" at some point in the presentation.

Bill O'Reilly may be most widely known for his work as a political commentator and host of The O'Reilly Factor on the Fox News Channel. But he is also the author of eight books, the most recent being Pinheads and Patriots: Where You Stand in the Age of Obama, which was published in 2010.

In Pinheads and Patriots, O'Reilly looks at the changes that have taken place in America since the 2008 election of Barack Obama. O'Reilly writes that the changes are rocking the core of America and having an effect on money, health, safety, freedom and the standing of the country.
